Basic Requisites
Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
Washes and provides clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan’s sanitation policies
Cleans and sanitizes throughout shift
Maintain kitchen area cleanliness ; sweeps, mops, removes debris from floor, etc
Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties
Prepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing
Can physically stand/walk 100 % of shift
Can reach, bend, stoop
Can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions
Ability to speak, read and write English
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. several times per shift, lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezers
Work in damp, high temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors
Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans
Work safely with sharp knives and utensils
Support fellow employees as needed
Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
